Rania Badr is an Account Director, leading integrated entertainment publicity and comms strategies across the region.
Based in Dubai, she manages end-to-end PR campaigns, media partnerships, talent communications, and executive visibility, helping global entertainment platforms like Netflix, major studios, festivals and cultural entities shape narratives that deeply resonate with regional audiences.
Rania brings over a decade of high-impact experience spanning media, streaming, film festivals, and editorial leadership. Previously, as MENA Head of Publicity and Marketing Communications for MBC Shahid, she spearheaded regional campaign launches, influencer ecosystems, and multi-market PR strategies. She also led international talent PR, red carpet press operations, and global media alliances across the inaugural five editions of the El Gouna Film Festival, alongside managing publicity for major releases at RAW Entertainment.
A specialist in crisis communications, data-informed strategy, and experiential activations, Rania has a proven track record of driving audience engagement and brand relevance across key regional markets. She conceptualized and executive produced the award-winning podcast Behind The Sheen, spotlighting premier Arab creative talent. Rania holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Ain Shams University and remains a passionate advocate for cinema, storytelling, and cultural production across MENA.
